Think Slutsky will be gone this week.
I think he'll stay until January unless he walks , Ehab will be reluctant to sack him

Ehab being what he is he'd probably sack him minutes before kickoff then announce it over the tannoy.Surely if they Ehab was going to sack him following the Sheff Utd game he'd have done it by now.
But then it is Ehab I guess.

If carlsberg did jobs LeonidLeonid Slutsky is a “potential candidate” to replace Michael Emenalo as technical director of Chelsea (Guardian).
Lets be factual here.... this current team has no backbone...Decent points but the players we sold in the summer were the same players who got this club relegated and conceded 80 goals in doing so. Personally I thought it was good business although I would have liked to have kept Tom Huddlestone
We also kept Dawson, Meyler and McGregor from last season's squad. So the backbone of the team was still in place although the injury to Hermandez was a massive blow.
We have bought some talented players but it does seem as though Slutsky doesn't know how or where to play them. He also looks like a nervous wreck on the touchline and appears to offer no instructions or anything.
I think he will be given more time but a huge improvement is required quickly.
The team had a backbone of experience players from keeper to centre forward at the start of the season. That was the point to the poster who was basically saying that Slutsky lost all his senior players from last season.Lets be factual here.... this current team has no backbone...

I agree they play without any signs of a backbone and I put that down to the manager.
Hells Bells, that is a shocking list in terms of what we have this year. Most appearances last season:
Clucas 41 - Gone
Robertson 39 - Gone
Huddlestone 39 - Gone
Elmo 37 - Gone
Maguire 36 - Gone
Hernandez 30 - Injured
Diomande 30 - Not being played
Davies 29 - Gone
Meyler 28
Jakupovic 26 - Gone
Dawson - 26
Snodgrass 25 - Gone
Livermore 24 - Gone
I reckon you'd be hard pushed to find any club who hadn't gone bust, who's seen such a decimation of their squad in a single season at this level.

Or worse ,You would think a team losing that amount of experience might be heading for the L1 trap-door?
