Born in Hull, but moved into the East Riding when I was four and I made no distinction between the two anyway.

One of those travelling into Hull working and taking money out of the city? One of those who some on message boards and according to Geraghty thought were doing so and who should be charged to use the city's facilities. Obviously even er heard of commuting or tourism.
Take away those from outside of Hull and City's crowds would have been extremely poor for decades.

our attendances are low enough without discounting supporters from the neighbouring villages surely , just Spring Bank and Ferensway residents from now on , <laugh>
There’s always a good stream of cars on Hedon Road leaving Hull after City night matches, be interesting to know how many supporters live outside the boundary’s

Why does it matter? Why is it such a big deal on here?

What percentage of Leeds fans live in Leeds?

What percentage of Manchester United fans live in Manchester?
It shows that the public of Hull are not supporting their local football team. The vast majority of the two rugby teams fans will be from Hull. Perhaps build a stadium in the East Riding to save a lot of travelling.<laugh>

Seriously, years ago the PL did a survey of which clubs had the highest number of season ticket holders with the most fans living outside the city postcodes. Surprisingly Man Uyd were only third. Liverpool were second. And the one with the most were TWS.

The two-thirds obviously doesn’t include those within Hull, they make up the other third.

Even if those figures are anything like accurate, many of those not in Hull, won't be in the East Riding either, but it's only fair the suburban bits pay a little bit back to the City they rely on for their infrastructure. :emoticon-0105-wink:

There’s a thread elsewhere bemoaning people starting the same old arguments time and time again.

So stop doing it, or at least raise it with the person that started the conversation, not me, who only joined in. . :emoticon-0105-wink:
