And we never beat Slumberland when it matters...Well tbf the last match didn’t matter, so it’s a dreadful last 2.

Maybe he had his head turned for those few games and downed tools. The dropping of huddlestone the weak draw at soton etc. looks like that's what just happened at watford.
To sum up he's amercenary **** who doesn't hide it. **** him
It will be a thread which will push Hull City Forum into first place of all the boards on 606...I am eagerly awaiting the ALLAMS have done one thread.
Everyday I live in hope.![]()

I think that was the most telling game of the three, he gave up and handed us our worst ever top flight defeat, not a shred of fight or dignity in that performance, it was an embarrassing way to end the season.
Is his Watford's now foreign manager?Schadenfreude. Good word that.![]()
Didn't realise that O18L.... ... good job we've had nothing to write about this season...I thought we are already number 1 on not606
There may be something true in thisThe team fell apart last season when it mattered, and they seem to think he's lost the team at Watford as well. If he was such a great 'technical' manager why was his away record so bad?
I’m pretty sure he’d admit he gave up, as would the players.
Last thing any player in the world wants is an injury from a game that means nothing after already being relegated. Every single one of them - including Silva - was already looking for a new club.

Silva knew before those last three games that Watford wanted him. The deal with City was an open ended one, after six months if we go down he could walk but if we stop up City had the option to keep him.I think that was the most telling game of the three, he gave up and handed us our worst ever top flight defeat, not a shred of fight or dignity in that performance, it was an embarrassing way to end the season.
That's the way I understood it too. It appears that others think differently, maybe they were privy to his contract. He knew

I think the results show what Silva and his back room team wanted to do.
At least it was only the last game of the season. Players looked like they had given up yesterday and there is 3 months to go. No excuse for a professional not putting a foot in when things are hard going. No player should ever admit to giving up, if they do they shouldn't be a professional sportsman.

Always said I thought he’d be found out.
Too much too early.
I got harranged on here constantly for saying he wasn’t tested and the hype was just hype. I didn’t ever say he wasn’t effective, and I’d have kept him, but he needed a season or so to prove he could be consistent.
All this miracle worker stuff, and silva knows best and would do this and that, was just hope. We went down and it still wasn’t his fault at all for some (check out our away record).
He brought some hope and got a few decent loans in, but we tailed off badly.
I think he may struggle now and his next job will have to show him hit the ground running.
Except we were all over them second half. So that means they haven't given up.At least it was only the last game of the season. Players looked like they had given up yesterday and there is 3 months to go. No excuse for a professional not putting a foot in when things are hard going.
