He's been a good servant to the club and is a nice bloke but that doesn't change the fact that he can be like bambi on ice and miss sitters. He might as well be sold on so he can finish his career somewhere else. I will be disappointed to see him go though.


I'm not changing my avatar though, even if he does go.
 
The one in 15 games he plays well he is just that IMO.

He used to be able to play that sort of game. But even against the mackems he was just a finisher in the 5-1, Carroll was the unplayable one, Shola just had the chances fall to him.

Shola hasn't been unplayable for about 4/5 years. He is still slow, lazy and pretty poor in the air and at holding the ball up.

Sadly he's always been 50/50 player, pretty soft and unreliable. A mediocre player at best. We've only had him for so long cus who really would want him? Maybe a Championship team. But he's a good guy and has been there many times when we needed him. Won't miss his skills, or lack thereof, but will def miss him as one of the true troopers in black and white.
