Let 'them' have the joy of gloating about silverware and a trip into yewrope, or let the usual suspects dominate the game just by paying for success?

I think I'd have to let the mackems have some joy as the under dogs. That's what the cups are all about.

They've got some decent guys in their ranks, we just seem to get the worst ones come on our board.

I think Whitey, Comm, Indy, Sid, Disco (?) and Bri are good lads. Fredor is surely a mag WUM having a laugh. One or two others seem OK, but can't think of the user names. But also a few bellends around. Mind you, I'm sure there are some Toon bellends too. <laugh>

Pretty sure there is too. But they're our bellends.

Sid's always been one of the better visitors.
 
if they win it, fair enough to them, they'll have deserved it.
if they lose, at least they've given it a go which is more than we can say.
anti Ashley/Pardew sentiment may grow further if they win it, so might actually be a good thing.
 
It's been 10 seasons since we had somebody score 20+ goals in a season (including up games). We could really do with a Shearer (in his prime) right now.

Wh wh wh WHATTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Give yourself a shake AB. Personally I hope they get absolutely tanked. I hope to see tears. I hope to read about the fortunes spent only to watch their team get spanked.

I think contrary to popular belief, they actually have a decent chance. One off games, bizarre **** can happen.
