Just googled HTC Desire at 15 per month and got this deal

http://cow.neondragon.net/index.php...nth-on-t-mobile-with-unlimited-texts-internet

Its a £25 p/m contract with 12 months at half price (£12.50) so over course of contract it works out at £18.75 per month. The HTC Desire really is a cracking piece of equipment like, really nothing to choose between it and an iPhone 4. Will post up more deals as I find them

Would rather get the Desire Z, it has a great keyboard.

Aye but the initial desire is the base model. The Z and HD are slightly newer so you really aren't getting a contract at 15 per month. In fact NUFCtom you may want to raise the bar to £20 a month to stand a chance of a decent contradt on smartfone, but you really cant go wrong with one of the Desire models

My mate had one, it's a good phone but it's wierdly slow for some reason. When you're flicking through photos each 1 takes a couple of seconds to load

Sadly for him he managed to loose it in a mosh pit the other week

Not a heavy enough user of my mobile to think about getting one of the better models. Got a new Vodaphone model not too long ago though and it's useless!

I used to be a heavy user for mobile internet and phone as I used to commute 7.5 hours a day but since moving closer to work I could actually do with reducing my tariff and perhaps lowering the quality of phone.

The thing I want more than anything is a phone with a good camrera so I don't have to buy a new camera as well.

Hardly ever use my mobile and only used it to take a pic the one time. Not too clever I'm afraid, and as I always carry my camera anyway it's not worth buying one for taking photos. I've got a good camera but I'm seriously thinking of going in for a better one. A bit of a hobby of mine.

GRB, what's your twitter account?

As far as phones go, if you're after a decent smartphone, go for the Orange San Francisco. You can pick one up for about £90 and it has some really good features for the price.

I took quite a few on mine when I first got it... I ended up in court when she saw them on the internet though. <cry>

I bought a decent SLR digital camera in 2003 (whilst in Riga as it was a fraction of the cost) but the sheer size (and cost of it at the time in the UK) scared me about taking it out in case something happened to it or we were going to do something afterwards apart from going home and I got too drunk.

I sold it on eBay a few years later and I reckon I only took a few hundred pictures.

I reckon a 12MP phone camera will suffice as I've never lost a mobile.

Spent a bomb on 35m equipment before digital came out. Had lenses from 35m to 300m. Took loads of good pics with it but digi is much better and more convenient.

Think we all had a somewhat different experience to this guy. <laugh>
