We have idiots on both sides, but your side take it to far (as in posting NSFW images without warning) on most occasions which is why more GC people have been banned. I don't see why we can't just say whoever posts a WUM thread on either board gets banned from that board.

It hasn't died yet, probably just the Newcastle United board. Also does anyone else get the feeling that the GC lot don't want anyone else apart from them on here.

I think that's unfair as it is only a few that go overboard on our board/cross thread. They can do what they want on GC, after all they were there first so it is unfair to force them out and it is up to Mick to decide whether he wants the content they post on his site. Once again it's a case of the minority (some from our board aswell) ruining it for the majority.

Unfortunately, the NUFC board will die. However it is not down to the GC lot forcing people out, but mainly out of respect to Skalps for the time and effort he has put in on the other site.

I'm not one of the highly frequent posters or anything but I enjoy the discussion/banter on this board and would like to keep up with the others if possible, paritcularly if this board is going to become a ghost town.

I've posted the stuff you're talking about on here in the past, and I actually suggested the same thing, as in, banning people from the Newcastle board, it would have solved it perfectly instead of banning people then they make new accounts and do it again. I - and others - only did it for the reaction after it happened the first time.

Maybe we did go over the top, but probably the biggest reason for all the cross-board thread/speed stuff is that this site was meant to be opposition to 606 originally and many posters on GC joined because they hated the strictness of 606 and they didn't want this place turning into that <ok>

I am already in a forum made by Manc fans in the early '11 days where the forum could of ****ed up or gone great.

Thankfully it went great, but now everyone is leaving? Is there any reason it's now and not a couple month ago?

It was the Speed stuff that set it off. I know it was posted on GC but it was just too soon for us all no matter where it was. Had it been a random person then I don't think many people would have batted an eyelid. Hell most people wouldn't even have saw it. But because it was a person that many of us consider a legend it was bound to end in the way it did.

It's just a shame that after the first major incident that people didn't learn and continued to wind up each other.

People were preparing to leave if Mick did nothing, then when he did decided to give the site another chance, unfortunately people don't think it has worked, though from Agent Bruce has told me tonight changes are being made for the better. Also the Gary Speed inquest has happened now so it shouldn't resurface again.

But my question is , whether we cared about it or not , why would you post so many vile pictures about a football legend tha had so recently died? So many people on GC are mentally sick and need help. A few of them are decent but most aren't.
