I don't understand why not many people consider us near a top 6 team.

Our strongest 11 isn't far off Arsenals, and it's better than Liverpool's.

Hey lads, the woman at the interview said they're looking to make a decision today and they'll call me later today to let me know.

Is that basically like I haven't got the job? When do employers ever make decisions on the day of the interview?

I think they might just be calling to tell me I haven't got it really.

I'd be a ward clark band 2, and the other 2 ward clerks are double my age. They probably don't think I'm experienced enough.

I'll stay positive but I doubt I've got it.

I got a part time job as a life guard the same day as my interview so keep your hopes up <ok>

When we're a consistent top 6 team, we'll be a top 6 team. In the meantime, we're a team in their second season back who is doing far better than anyone expected.

It's pathetic. If we manage to finish 6th this year they'll probably still refer to the top 6 as Liverpool and not us, if we do it for two years running they might start to consider using the phrase 'the top 7' so they dont lose their precious Liverpool. <doh>

More than likely, its only because they bum the ex Man U and Liverpool players, they can't upset their darling pundits <doh>

Erm, lads. Can I ask a rather odd question?

As you know, it's illegal to kill Swans in our wonderful 'democratic' country. Well, today driving in York, I accidently ran over a Swan, and killed it.

Well, do I need to tell the police or anything!? I know you have too if you hit a deer. Just wondered if it was the same?

<laugh> Cheers

Are the animals you accidently run over getting bigger the more you do it or something? <whistle>

Don't ring up, it was an accident and telling the police wont achieve anything.

It's stupid how we view some animals as special and killing them is illegal, but others not so special and we could kill and rape them and no one would care.

I can't believe I was on my driving lesson the other day, and there was a sign saying "Red Squirells!" around the area.

They are a protected species, but why post a sign about it? Do they expect drivers to stop, full brakes on, if we see a Squirrel on the road, just because they're endangered?
