Yeah, @GlitterOfficial is going to do some serious covert damage to those billions of people who have no idea that Gary Glitter is a convicted *****phile...

I wasn't just on about his Twitter here, I meant all *****s and all social networking sites. In most other circumstances, I wouldn't be as bothered, but with websites such as these, it's only going to make it easier for them to groom potential victims.

If this is actually him, do you people honestly think he is going to start grooming young kids under the name GlitterOfficial? He would have to be the worlds dumbest person to declare himself officially to the world rather than using a fake name.

True, social networking sites are havens for those folk.

Mind you on twitter, there is not a lot of privacy so if Glitter does do something wrong then people will notice that is is him, so therefore he would use a different name, wouldn't be surprised if its some ***** trying to put the blame on Glitter for their offences if something does happen.

It's not about free speech, it's about him staying off social networking sites because he is a peadophile. Who knows what he is looking at. There could be 10 year old girls and boys on twitter who won't have a clue who he is.

If he's been banned from such sites as part of his convictions, fair enough. Who cares what he's looking at? If someone puts it on twitter, it's there for the world to see, unless it's set to private then it's for whoever they allow. If he managed to groom a kid over twitter, which morals aside would be absolutely idiotic given that every single action is tracked and traceable, then the blame should also lie with the parents and even the gullible child who would probably get nowhere in life anyway.

Should we segregate everyone who has committed crimes against a specific group of people?

Never though of that, jesus christ the police need to do something here.

Highly doubt that, given how easy it would be to verify whether the account does indeed belong to Glitter.

This clearly is not the case, that sounds like an episode of Scooby Doo for heavens sake. Nobody is going to think they can pretend to be Gary Glitter and start grooming children online in the hope that the police will just go and arrest him instead <laugh>.

And I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids!

Haha this. That would be daft!

Anyway, this is my last Gary Glitter post ;) haha. He doesn't deserve my thoughts. ****!

Sorry, it was a bit over reactive.

How old where you all when you moved out of your parents house?

I'm near 20 now, and as soon as I get a job I'm thinking of moving out. I'd just like a place of my own.

Dude, I still with my Mum. I earn quite a good wage, for my age. Ive got no thoughts of moving out. Living here I dont have to worry about bills etc <laugh> Plus, I get to afford plenty of nights out, and also afford to go away with friends. Heading over to Asia in July!

Although, I'm moving out in August by the looks of it when the t'mother packs off and moves back home to Canada!
