Oh, and I've went about 2 days without posting because "hard-disk failure is imminent".
Picked a bad time for that to happen, the Thailand floods have shut down much of the hard drive production facilities in the country leading to a shortage of HDDs and prices are 2-3 times more than usual.
Does anybody actually know the point of putting the clocks back?? It just seems like the most pointless thing in the world to me.
From a long time ago to get an extra hours daylight.
Kids going to school etc etc.
Helped the farmers in the war years, getting the crops in etc etc. Land girls were allocated to them too to help with just about any job thinkable. Milking cows, collecting eggs, getting the crops in. It was a hard life.
Way to far fetched to be a lie as well.
There's no point whatsoever in it. The excuse that people don't want their kids going back to school is bullshit because we put them forward in the summer and it's normal time in winter. So why the hell do they put it forward? There's no benefit to it at all. If people are unhappy with how light/dark it is while they work they should work different hours, it's a pain in the bollocks when they keep changing it.
