what they plan for next season is a different kettle of fish .. but he said this season the football club will be known as hull city .. that is all .. so he has not ever lied so far

Its not the first time or last time a team has done it. Hull probably thought they was in a stronger position then what they were in thinking West Brom needed the money to buy Sessegnon and Anichebe with Lukaku possibly coming in aswell. West Brom showed them they was within no means under any pressure to sell

It will be interesting to see our response tomorrow, if it's true we look like ****ers, if it's not, it's potentially libellous. Either way, I'd offer £500k for Long in January, just for a laugh.

What I mean is that you've turned Long's head with a bid you couldn't fulfill.
 
Can anyone seriously see the Club putting in a bid for a player with money they haven't got? How would they expect clubs in the future to do deals with them if they couldn't be trusted? Total bullshit!!!

what a load of **** , we made a bid flew him over on a private jet put him through his medical and agreed personnel terms to then get in touch with WBA and say we couldn't afford it , to me that just smells of ****e !

Your one of the few who actually understands the problems you could cause. Had you have made your move on Long before deadline day you would have been in an alot stronger position to negotiate fees with West Brom

Making numerous signings means **** all when their duds like McGregor, Davies, Graham and Harper <ok>

Hull more then likely wont respond until the morning now. Its quite late to draw up a statement now. If they need one im sure they could ask the grammar nazi OLM to type one up <ok>

Sorry, what I meant was, who have you brought in this summer then to show how great your club is in the transfer market by comparison?

If those are the 4 of our signings you pick out as 'duds' it just goes to show what incredibly good business Bruce has done, yet again, in the transfer market.

Unfortunately Proud we didn't know he was available 'til deadline day so couldn't negotiate. That's why this seems like bullshit to me.
