Who do you think we are? You think we are going to sign someone who just bagged 15 goals last season? Long is probably the best we can hope for on the last day. Really, you are being beyond silly.

Just got a feeling that Long is instead of Gedo and there might still be another striker coming in, if there are already deals in place for Fryatt & A N Other out be it on perm or loan!

Doff my cap to your accuracy, but Graham played half a season in a **** Sunderland team, surly you're not going to count them.

Long was 20/21 in his first PL stint, he has a carear total of 63 league goals in 9 seasons, 23 of which were scored in his one good season.

Not up to the level we need

He's a decent PL player and a very good Championship one.

He improves our squad, whichever way you look at it.

Seriously lads & lasses, we're not in a position to turn people down.

We need a striker, and any striker will do.

And if he comes in and scores 6,7,8 goals he'll be our top goal scorer easy.

He is better than I was expecting, and I've never heard of him thanks to Lukaku having a great season.

He would improve the squad, but it's the starting II that needs improvement.

He is a different type of striker to what we have.
He is quicker and a better finisher than Fryatt.

Well Bendtner, Cole, Doyle and Rodallega won't have been better. Number wise.

Bendtner- 29 goals in last 79 games (1 in 2.5)

Cole- 28 goals in last 105 games (1 in 4)

Doyle- 27 goals in last 139 games (1 in 5)

    Rodallega- 27 goals in last 142 games(1 in 5)

    Long - 44 goals in last 115 games (1 in 2.5)

and that's if it makes any sense to compare the last 3/4 seasons. I mean a lot of Bendtner's goal (about a quarter) have been in cups and obviously scoring while playing Arsenal is probably easier than scoring for Wolves or West Brom

Sorry, should have said with WBA.

69 games and 16 goals a goal every 4 games.

    Decent addition.

Think we got the wrong Mac when we dealt with Peterboro, think we've got the right player dealing with WBA.
