Agree with all of that. Only downside to me is that both tonight and last Saturday, we have been guilty of missing gilt edged chances. Can't afford to keep doing that. On a positive note, there will be games when all of the shots hit the back of the net instead of the woodwork.

Exactly mate, football is always a game of fine margins. Hell you look at man City, if Toure hits that free kick against us ten times he probably only scores one! On another day Borini buries his chance and we win. Its bad when chances go begging but I'd much rather that than them not be created which often seemed the case under Ross, McNulty particularly was unlucky with his and at least we know he's not out of form, and you can't legislate for a ref missing one blatant penalty (possibly two, I didn't catch the replay of the O'Nien one). Remember these are a very decent side at this level, play like that (and I even think we were decent on Saturday, and certainly on Tuesday) and I think we'll be right up there if Parkinson gets them fit, works on confidence and maybe gets a player or two in January

PP has us playing on the front foot, and creating loads more chances than Ross. Can see us burying Southend on Saturday, then it's important to start and pick up away points. I can certainly see us being a force to be reckoned with at home this season (injuries permitting), but we need to get another away win under our belts, and quickly, to get on a bit of a roll, like Luton did this time last year.

I’m seething over the way this season is going. The club looks an utter shambles again. It’s time for a change and Donald needs to take this offer and piss off.

I’m dreading January and the utter **** that Hill and Coton will have lined up. Maybe Coton has done some more speed dating to get us another Sterling.

The performances are night and day to be honest, more fluid and easier on the eye. We've limited most opponents as compared to sitting back and trying to absorb pressure. Faster tempo at the back and middle and more emphasis one touch. Watmore, McNulty need to keep up their goals. Need to see a few pull their fingers out when it comes to contributing goals.
Particularly the refs going by tonight's performance - wtf did he think caused Onien to fall over?

I can only begin to imagine the red cheeks, mouth foaming and stamping of feet.
You poor dear

You keep clapping away Bri whilst we slip further into League 1 obscurity, there’s a good lad. Hope you enjoyed your free burger and pint at the seat change.

I’m sick to death already.

Of course it could be better but club missed a great opportunity not getting shot of ross after play off final.
I would suggest that since PP came on board our style of football is a complete turnaround from the awful stodge served up by ross.
We are attacking more and yes we arent scoring as we should but at least it's better than holding in our own half all game.
The problems PP inherited will take longer than 6 or 7 games. He has inherited a squad bereft of confidence.
I believe the talent is there.

I know we got beat by Oxford, but we weren't bad. I'm surprised by the amount of despondency, even though ultimately I agree we should be stamping some authority on this division and teams in it.

I don't know whether Parkinson is the right man for the job, and I have doubts as to why he's ended up here, but we do look better going forward, we could just do with some better players in a few positions really.

The camera pans to our coach speach less hahaha was comedy gold that. Someone makes the point they weren't surprised, I have to agree, this happens every 3/4 games.

I'm sure the ref was in behind the incident by somewayz but his view wasn't blocked. Many saw from behind the halfway line....

I know exactly who he is mate.

Banned from RTG, came on here and was banned for obsessing over me.

Now he back obsessing over me again and will soon be banned again.

These people are grown men who follow me around like junkies desperate for a fix ...

.... absolutely no self respect.

You made this up as well? Pancho banned me nowt to do with you but for calling him out for the forum supporting mags more than Sunderland fans. But keep believing your own story it seems common mate.

I reckon the players are there, just ross has instilled too much negativity and exorcised any creative intent during his tenure. It will take time to banish these demons. It wont happen after 3 or 4 games.
I maintain that certainly luton and Charlton did an awful lot more with an awful lot less last season and that is down to good management and coaching.
People thinking our ownership is a shambles should look at charlton.
Owner doesnt care and stopped all investment at the beginning of last season. Bowyer was a rookie manager. He has them playing intelligent football and even now despite limited resources is doing well in c'ship.
We were on a handcart to hell with ross. If by end of Feb we are still rubbish then let the sobbing and hand wringing recommence.
People thinking things would change overnight after the ross debacle need a perspective transplant.
