Agree with all of that. Only downside to me is that both tonight and last Saturday, we have been guilty of missing gilt edged chances. Can't afford to keep doing that. On a positive note, there will be games when all of the shots hit the back of the net instead of the woodwork.
Exactly mate, football is always a game of fine margins. Hell you look at man City, if Toure hits that free kick against us ten times he probably only scores one! On another day Borini buries his chance and we win. Its bad when chances go begging but I'd much rather that than them not be created which often seemed the case under Ross, McNulty particularly was unlucky with his and at least we know he's not out of form, and you can't legislate for a ref missing one blatant penalty (possibly two, I didn't catch the replay of the O'Nien one). Remember these are a very decent side at this level, play like that (and I even think we were decent on Saturday, and certainly on Tuesday) and I think we'll be right up there if Parkinson gets them fit, works on confidence and maybe gets a player or two in January
