Does that thing have initials by any chance?

I'm not jumping on the 'jump on SD's back' bandwagon just now but with all the stuff in the media the past day or 2 (I know I know), I just thought I would ask....

Can only really be Donald I'd have thought mind. Sartori doesn't get a say if they buy into Sunderland limited rather than Madrox, the manager has gone, anyone else you'd imagine they'd happily throw under the bus if needsbe. Unless it's a planning/ council thing. It's like a bloody soap opera this!

You would like to think mate, that they have climbed over many obstacles to get this far, if there is one that prevents it, how typical Sunderland would that be

Absolutely NOTHING to do with the council, hotel/Short, planning, etc.

As I said a month ago it's a 'staffing issue'.

I'd love to post what I know and 'clear my name' but people are getting really twitchy and things becoming 'legal'.

There’s a rumour on RTG that Parkinson has been appointed. I can’t see it myself if there’s still takeover talks ongoing.

Cheers mate. Well they can kick out any member of staff quite easily, so although I won't ask you to confirm I can only imagine the owners (and their future roles) could really be a major sticking point. Like I say Sartori and Methven can be avoided by them buying into SAFC rather than Madrox, which only leaves Donald (unless he's trying to look out for Methven or Sartori). Still, hopefully it'll resolve positively, they'll get well remunerated for what they've done and we can move forward with investors who might be able to help us long term

There was some comments on RTG earlier about someone getting a letter sent with regards to things they had published regarding the takeover.

I've had threats of various kinds, abusive pm's from people who've logged on but never posted, that 'Hotlips' nonsense, texts to my personal mobile, etc etc etc.

I'll never do it again that's for sure.
