What??? We would have been out of business if it wasn't for Donald.. Regardless of whether the investors have pulled out or not, at least we still have a bloody club for Christ's sake..
I find it a little odd that SD hasn't tweeted for 4 days, and his last "interaction" was a like yesterday, but then the Sun post their article and within 20/30 minutes SD is on twitter replying to a fan. Almost like someone at the club has alerted him to the article and he's come online to reassure fears with as much as he can say right now.
To me, it's not off yet but that's not to say it won't be off at some point soon.

he has mentioned "investment" now. Really hope I'm not reading too much into his choice of words. We need a full takeover, simple as that.

No idea. I guess it's easy to just see the negative in things at the minute! For balance, he has also stated he hasn't "haggled on a price".
He, iirc, has previously been happy to state that the deal isn't off when people have questioned whether that was the case or not but his response this time doesn't seem anywhere near as positive. Previously he would just say no truth in it, deal not off, still ongoing.

This has a smack of finality to it....I'm absolutely gutted, really thought this could have been a new dawn for the club
Makes no sense go on this long then at late stage MSD are worried it may cost a bit and be hard to manage 3000 miles away. I mean they knew that from the start surely???

I for one don’t believe Donald. I have been told for 2 weeks now that he has been playing hardball with the Americans wanting more money when we are promoted up the leagues. They were getting sick then I guess this’s might just be a culmination of this. He will rightly get pelters for this in my opinion. A once in a lifetime chance we had. Oh well fingers crossed it’s bollocks.
Why fret over something we have not had.. If it goes ahead then great.. If it doesn't we are still in a better state than we were when Short left..
