I have to be honest here.

My judgement, in all of this, has been coloured by two things.

My ex-employer billionaire Italian told me the Americans were openly talking about the deal, the plans, etc .... and I saw a WhatsApp from Fuhrman to that effect.

Now, whatever people think of me, put yourself in my position.

I've had over 40 years of mediocrity and suddenly have this put to me on a plate.

Seriously, how would you react?

First of, does your Italian billionaire ex boss fancy investing in a growing business not related to football? :emoticon-0103-cool:

Secondly, most sane people have and do appreciate the information you have passed on and understand how excited you are about it.

I know I can't wait for it to happen and we can get our club back to where it belongs

Give me a brief outline and I'll consider if it might appeal. In 2 years he'll be my current employer so I have to be prudent in what I propose.

You never know though.

Morning all! I know the talk in on the 11th is when we will hopefully get the details of the takeover if, as mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s hopefully announced by close of play on the 9th.

Does anyone know if there are tickets remaining or if it’s sold out. Tried to buy some tickets the other night but for the life of me I can’t find my SAFC customer number :emoticon-0119-puke:

As a footnote.....just been “over the road” and all they had was 5 pages of people talking about “river sl*ts!”

It’s just a joke now!

I've started businesses, got them profitable then lost interest.

My life is fascinating though and full of surprises ...
... I've never any idea what will happen next.

It's like reading a good novel, I just hope there's a happy ending <laugh>
