i have tended to keep out of most discussions regarding the take over and the 'what if' side of things as i have little to no idea about what is involved when you get right down to the nitty gritty of it all...my own personal opinion, that i have formed after reading the posts others have made and weighing everything up, is that once this is officially announced we will know for sure that these lads have gone through everything with a fine toothed comb so no more 'alvarez' type news... and although i hope SD will still have a role it should come as no surprise if a complete change comes about...this will not be them thinking our current owners are not up to the job but because they are the types to have their 'own men' installed.

the snippets and twitters and the rest all point towards this is going to happen, i am with those who feel it will not be a massive fanfare but a more resigned 'this has happened, and now for the rest of the days news'...in fact i am kind of hoping it is exactly that, just quietly slipping in and getting on with the job.
I think that is spot on myself like, we are not gonna suddenly have monorails and theme parks but we will have a plan and serious financial backing, I think we we will be back in the prem sooner rather than later but will the big boys (players) come to Sunderland? Of course they will once we have a monorail and a theme park!

Personally I don’t understand all this panic about the takeover collapsing,to me everything points towards this being done for example;

numerous sports articles are saying it’s on the verge of being done such as echo, chronicle, bbc ext.

You have roker report and als talking about it like it’s already been announced barring in mind the get most ,if not all there information from the club

You have msd creating there own company to take over that has the stadium of light as the company’s address

One of the new owners are following us on instagram plus Sd is following dell on twitter

You have jack Ross and max power talking about msd and how exciting it is for the club

a few rumours about people being payed off on the staffing side of the club

Sd has sold his company and now hes putting a time frame on the announcement and openly talking about the take over now

nothing points towards this collapsing.

Has anyone thought maybe the hold up to the announcement is dell him self wants more involved and wants some extra stake in the club
You forgot one teensy weensy little thing it’s bloody Sunderland <laugh>

If the stories about developing Sheepfolds into a kind of sporting village have any legs then we will have no difficulty attracting players.

If that was the case, I hope the historically hapless city council would see fit to see a long needed foot bridge over the Wear linking the area to the stadium.

The chances of the city council having that foresight are similar to Bruce declining desert of course.

Which big school did you then go ? Not Greencroft by any chance ?
We moved to Delves when i was in my last year of junior so went to Blackfyne. I remember 1 lad in my class in Leadgate ended up playing for Ipswich against Ajax and Cruyff, he went to greencroft

Just make the monorail a roller coaster and you kill two birds with one stone

That was John Stirk who played for Ipswich, really nice lad.

I used to go to play with him at Iveston, nice folks he had as well.

Blimey, so did I, John was one of my best mates at school, I seem to remember playing on a farm up there but I am pretty sure he lived on the main street, long time ago though.

If you're actually expecting the council to do something forget it.

Pre meeting meetings to discuss the agendas for the next meetings ( expenses x15)
Meetings to discuss the proposals (expenses x9)
Agree the proposals (expenses x6)
Gentoo complete the works 40 years

I posted a month ago that Fuhrman had boasted to his friend, Ben Brown, that he had bought SAFC. Brown showed me a WhatsApp to that effect when I went to his home.

A fortnight ago Fuhrman starts following SAFC on Instagram.

It transpires that Ben Brown has been following him for years.

I'd ask any of the people attacking my honesty, how on earth could I have known that?
Don't think thats true mate.
