It's quite cool on here tbh.

People will be life banned if they act up.

The Mods quietly observe and just remove anyone making a negative contribution.

You can get away with some bad stuff if you balance it with decent posts.

But if it's all RTG style trolling you'll vanish without trace or warning.

That's where the complacent RTG Mods let the board down.
The 2 other big differences on here is everyone seems capable of discussing things with a bit of respect for the post / poster they are responding to

And the other is there isn't any favourtism or little groups round on a single poster

Takeover thread took a bit of a turn undercover RTG mods and that :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Suppose nothing else going on at the moment.. I'm trying to just ignore it and whatever happens happens but still can't help checking online for news even though probably will be none anyway.

Start new contract Wednesday so needs to hurry up!

Yeah atm nothing much to thunk on. Best to stay cool and just await what will unfold..

We have not played a game for what seems an age... so bored folk with nowt to do, start arguments... alcohol and the anonymity of the keyboard.. plays its part no doubt... me I have not had a drink since last night..just a few doom bar..

Aye tends to be if two people are having a barney everyone else just lets them get on with it without taking sides or piling on. No cliques to speak of at all.

It's a Sunderland chat forum mate and there's loads going on tbh.

We have players away for internationals, have just sacked a manager, interviewing his replacement, are in the middle of a takeover and have an important game on Saturday.

People will post on all those subjects, not just come on to read info they can find on the media.

There will be contrary opinions, robust debate and all kinds of daft crack.

If it gets out of hand the Mods will step in but, if people aren't chatting, it's not really a chat forum.

I’m not one for trolling mate. Got enough going on offline to start that carry on.

I just wish this negative slant on our club would do one(that’s on RTG not here I might add). Some fans revel in it.

Has he ****.

He never once proclaimed himself as a ‘saviour’, the deal for the club and the way it was financed was open from day one, yet everyone got their fannies in a knot when the information we already knew was repeated several months the later.

Sartori was 100% genuine, his political progress and the opportunity for him to help the people of the very proud and humble country he’s from being more important than a 3rd tier club several thousand miles away is understandable.

Now, let’s not forget that these prospective new, business savvy and outrageously wealthy owners, well they weren’t looking a year ago.

If the club is a saleable and viable asset to a major, successful asset management business, that’s down to the people who have made the books at the club palatable.

It’s certainly not helped by folk hurling unfounded vitriol on social media, publicly, at a man who has grafted his bollocks off whilst at the helm of the club.
Well said marra

It helps not having posters who relentlessly and deliberately post provocative or magically depressive or incorrect crap!

Manically ffs. Stupid phone.

And how have I bollocksed the quote up.

The bloke who stopped us going into administration and has got very rich people taking an interest in us is full of ****? If the investors do pull out it will be more likely because they have witnessed the abuse the current owner get for his efforts..
We were never going to go into administration. Short said he would continue to float the club but no longer fund it.
