To be honest it is just another example (in my opinion) as to the bloke being out of his depth. All well and good when your the owner of some non league club but FFS runnin a club like sunderland and communicating via twitter is a joke.
I think donald trump may disagree.
I hate him with a vengeance but his tweets certainly seem to both resonate and polarize.
It's a whole new area for getting a message/point of view etc across.
People make a living being 'social media influencers'. Why go out on the hustings pressing flesh when you can get just as much airplay and recognition sat in your living room prodding your tablet?
Problem for donald is he started off being 'everyone's mate' on twitter and RR etc. It worked a dream. 'Club is a mess, fans have been ignored, there there I will soothe your furrowed brows'. Fast forward 18 mths and we have seen the manager sacked after presiding over a team of chokers twice at wembley etc etc. investment/takeover that were to make us the equivalent of croesus has gone pear shaped.
Donald hasnt got the juice, experience, panache etc to cope with these failures.
The sacking and search for a manager and the takeover saga have reopened all the old wounds and donald seems incapable of stitching or cauterising these wounds.
He ought to be very wary of he wants to outwit or paint msd as the bad guys. They will tie him in knots.
It's a very very vexed situation
