I've reread my post on the smb and it's not really a very helpful post tbh, hopefully it'll be pulled because I haven't directly seen the texts myself, I've just posted in anger. The rumoured texts themselves have nothing bad in them at all, it's just the fact that he might have been texting someone during this which, if true, would be incredibly unprofessional.
Just on the subject of my info being incorrect or whatever I'll just remind people about Ross.
I stated that he would definitely be sacked before there was any other mention in the media.
ALS, etc, posted, the following day, that his job was totally safe.
People took that as an opportunity to mock me and say I was wrong ....
... I've not seen a sign of one of them since I was proved right.
That's how easy it is to be a Troll and why they do it, just sad little cowards.

It's been ridiculous for some time now but we're reaching new heights daily. Can't wait to see the back of the whole ****ing mess, I don't usually get involved in gossipy stuff like this as it's 99% bullshit but because it's so important to Sunderland I can't help myself.
If we can get the American group to commit on some level now with a view to further investment in the future I'll be content. That seems very much doable.
I'm new to the Sunderland forums, both here and RTG. Despite this, in the short time I've been active on these, I've gotten the impression that you're a reputable poster with a presence in the real world with Sunderland fans and a genuine reputation. I don't think I know of any other poster with quite the profile you do, and as such I believe your posts and appreciate all the information you provide, be it through passing on information or providing your opinion. You're more credible than any other poster who is completely anonymous, despite it being claimed that some posters have been accurate before, that doesn't mean they're accurate now and it's easy to throw mud at a wall until something sticks when you're anonymous. You've also posted very niche and specific information regarding names that has been proven to be true and has come out well after you posted it.
Regardless of the outcome of all this, if I bump into you at an away game (I'll be at Wycombe) I'll be sure to buy you a pint. Thanks for your updates to date and for wading through unwarranted personal abuse.

After reading that post on the SMB would you say it was a bit of a over reaction. Because at the minute people are getting their pitchforks ready for a full assault on SD.
People say nothing I've ever said has happened.
I was the first to post, ages ago, that there would be a meeting this week.
I was ridiculed by the usual clique.
The same people who are now discussing the meeting as if it was always common knowledge.

I guess because we’ve always had it tough, people are reluctant to believe or be positive, I get that.tell you what, i have not taken any 'sides' here but is it not typical that one lad says it is on and a done deal yet gets lambasted for it, yet anyone who posts it is off is roundly believed to be correct.

But the amount of people, certainly on RTG coming out and saying they knew the deal would collapse but nobody would listen, callling other posters morons for daring to dream, rejoicing at potential turmoil for the club etc etc are a disgrace.
Mate of mine reckons he’s got info saying Ross sacking was driven by the consortium, they are still progressing as before but wanted any speculation out in the open to be squashed. This could be total bullshit, but I’m an optimist so I’m going with it. And if none of this happens, I’ll still be at the match, supporting the team and having a good crack with mates and those who sit around us.
Everything on here and there is an overreaction. We need to wait it out and see what the outcome is before we start sharpening our pitchforks.
