You and half the board by all accounts ...

... the only person interested to hear what he has to say is himself.

Cheers mate, I know this but Andrew P is of so little consequence I wouldn't have mentioned him, doing so would probably the highlight of his time on there. He's made zero contribution, to the point whereby no-one would notice if he vanished ... never anything interesting, witty or original.

That he should pick up on the word 'embellishment', in a negative way, perfectly illustrates his pessimistic character. 'To embellish' can be a very positive things and means 'to make something better by adding to it'.*

I've had to be extremely careful with what I've said so have posted everything I've been allowed to but tried to add to it by doing so in an interesting, original and funny way ... surely having a laugh is a massive part of coming on here, something that obviously goes way over the heads af the usual bunch of miseries.

When I've posted what I can I've tried to throw in a few clues, hints and teasers just to give people a laugh and make it interesting. That is the definition of embellishment and I'm proud of that. Sometimes I've had to change people's /profession/location/position to protect them from a slap on the wrist and myself from seeing my snippets of info dry up altogether.

But, of course, the 'Jardines' will automatically and relentlessly leap on absolutely anything, like dogs at broth, because of their jealousy and bitterness. They'd like to be popular but know that's never going to happen so project an 'I don't care what anyone thinks' persona to protect their fragile egos. They always look on the black side to avoid having to take disappointments they find too hard to bear.

So when anyone comes along, who gets a few laughs & likes, it reinforces their lack of popularity and they try to pull them down by any means possible.

It's no surprise that this sad little clique never post about going to the match with mates and having a bloody good day out ... they don't go to the matches and don't have mates. So, once again, lash out at anyone who does because they're bitter and jealous.

They can't abide anything joyous, beautiful, moving or happy so will always try to drag things down to their own miserable level where they can wallow in their own narrow minded negativity.

They're so predictable and repetitive I'll have to, as I often do, leave the last word to Mr John Cooper Clarke ....

"It's a sociologist's paradise
Each day repeats
On easy, cheesy, greasy, queasy
Beastly Beasley Street."

I live in my daft happy little world of optimism, mates and days out and they live in their grubby little Beasley Street bubble ...

.... as I often say, 'No matter how bad my life may sometimes be, at least I'm not like them'.

It's a great comfort <laugh>

Every time I go on the takeover thread over there I can feel my energy drain, it’s filled with colins....

On the premier board

Ah right, that's why I'd never see it.

If this is the start of the board being swamped I'll just toddle off and not bother with it again.

No big deal but it's just a bit boring.

People left RTG because of it and they'd leave here just as quickly. It would sharp return to being the dead zone it was again.

There is a fine line though between embellish and bellish - :emoticon-0105-wink:

Did you EVER, though, admit to doing that, regarding the potential takeover, as he claimed?

If you did I must have missed it.

I repeat:

As far as I'm aware, though, the only things he genuinely knows about are a) importing a bride, b) fathering numerous children and then c) maximising his benefit claims - everything else appears to be bullsh*t, even though he always claims to know more about any given subject than anyone else.

I posted hundreds of times mate and, to avoid being boring, put things in as entertaining a way as possible.

'Embellish' has more than one meaning so the pessimists will always put a negative slant on it.

I try to embellish all of my posts by trying to make them interesting or funny ...

... that's not the same as lying which is what that poster is implying.

Society includes people like this to keep balance of opinion. God loves us all.
I totally agree we all have different opinions, but to be constantly negative is either a wind up and quite sad or just sad that you could be permanently negative.

Normal balanced people are positive about some things and negative about others.

Endlessly grinning people, who are totally optimistic about absolutely everything, are often sectioned and confined ....

... those who are relentlessly pessimistic aren't sectioned but find a safe haven on RTG.

agree entirely.
heres a fact, I once slipped over kicking a spent firework.

this the story I tell. On a rainy fireworks night after watching my dad kick all the spent fireworks away I decided to do the next one. I ran full throttle at the firework, kicked, missed and slid. For an instant I was horizontal in mid air before sliding under my dads car leaving a tonyg size skid mark on the lawn.

the facts still the same but I maybe didn’t slid all the way under the car and I’ve padded and embellished the story :)

Hopefully not, I have enjoyed reading and contributing on here, there seems a lot of decent posters and not much point scoring

I see what you mean but that's not it for me, I don't pad out the story with exaggerations.

What I do is hoy a joke in, that isn't necessary, or add a few interesting facts that aren't actually vital.

I post info as accurately as possible despite having to change a few things to blur the trail back to the source.

But surely this place is supposed to be a laugh, not Crown Court.

arrive at work - check
make coffee while pc starts up - check
read latest on here - check
get on with work - errrrr

Glad I'm not the only one, keep thinking my lass might be right that I'm sad as **** for checking this constantly!

I'm on that much during this that I literally panicked last night when I realised (I'm ****e at technology) that even though I browse from my personal phone, work would be able to see how much time I'm spending on here because I've been on their WiFi while doing it. Hopefully they don't notice, and now I'm just using data instead
