Should have done this when Ralph left and certainly when Jones left. He is a proven fire fighter. Experience counts - see the impact that Warnock and Hodgson have had on their relative teams, football may not be pretty but is gets important points

From the same source, Saints are 4th in the all-time list of managerial changes in Football League/Premier League history with 22. We are also 4th in the list of mid-season changes with 16. Newcastle are top of both lists.
