Seb Larsson

The signing of a well known Swedish international didn't even warrant a mention on the local BBC RH sports news this morning. 'In football......Grimsby have a player.....( interview) who is calming influence in the team...etc.....Scunthorpe are hoping to win on Saturday.........Liverpool......player interview.......blah, blah'
Presumably too busy asking hard questions and bringing the Allams to account?

Be a solid signing for you.

He grafts his nuts off, and he's tidy enough but he's slow as **** and doesn't influence the game enough. He's a good lad when the games a battle cos he doesn't mind getting stuck in.

Do not have him on corners or free kicks cos those past glories are long, long gone. He will be very decent in this league though, overall.

I think we all wish him well he's been a good servant.

<laugh> I'm sure that's filled everyone with confidence. ... :emoticon-0107-sweat

Yes really , do you disagree ?

Yes, just the same as a golfer can lose his touch for putts and snooker players lose their touch. It's a skill and without a doubt, over the last few seasons Seb has let it slip. Let's hope he spends time finding the touch again, as he knows what is needed? Whereas others don't.

Any insight into why they let him go? He's held in high regard at s/land so why have we got him?

I haven't seen an explanation as to why Sunderland let him go. I can accept he is a good signing but I think back to the common warning from my single days . . "your new girlfriend may be hot and all, but somewhere there's a guy who's had enough of her shyte."
