Well Mike , I, 4-1 value your learned and always eloquent opinions. <ok> Its a shame half of these Scummers visiting our Board, can barely utter a word of the Queen's English, I have heard that they are pretty au fait with Polish though!<whistle>

Shame your knowledge of great English literary figures doesn't match your splendid use of the language. I suppose you'll be claiming that Chaucer came from Fratton, next? <laugh>

By the way, is "au fait" classed as Queen's English? <whistle>

No, but I believe Benny Hill was born in Southampton, brecon <ok>

Shame he is dead really, as he would have done a great job running down the flanks at St Marys, with his signature tune playing over the tannoy. As long as he had a scantily clad nurse to chase of course. Perhaps Fraulein Liebherr could have dressed up, or Ronnie Koeman in drag.........<laugh>

That would have brought the fans in.

Your right Woops, everything is worth a try, I mean
Your 11 clowns that run around on match day has brought in a good size crowd.

Spot on, Possum.

You must be referring to our '11 clowns' who have picked up 7 points out of a possible 9 this season, currently unbeaten, have got us to 4th place in the table, and hardly cost us more than a few quid to sign ?

My local Sunday League team have won 4 out of 4 and there's no charge to watch them -this must make me happier than you? (the fact that they are in the Cynon Valley League is, of course, totally irrelevant). <cheers>

Missed the point, Wooperts! How's the Shakespeare statue outside your ground coming along - is SB3 in support of it?<whistle>

Well if you check, 'au fait' does actually appear in the Oxford concise English dictionary!<whistle>

Well, in fairness the suit and the trousers are not bad really. If it was a statue to Hepworths, it would have been fine. It would have also been fine as a statue of Al Mirage. I mean, who was going to say that it was a poor likeness?

Oh dear, they could be in the bottom six by the bank holiday!<laugh> <laugh> My predictions are getting really quite good at the moment!<laugh> <laugh>
