I thought under new rules it was limited to £8mill?
Ok
Isn't it maximum loss of £13m over a period of 3 years, of which the owner must cover £8m by way of equity injection.

However I believed that any sum can be invested into the club as equity, as FFP was to do more with sustainable debt. There is nothing to say that an owner cant inject money as an equity stake, and then that money be used to fund purchases, however I could well be misguided in my interpretation here.

However its all a moot point anyways, as we both know Cellino ain't going to invest £40 million into the club for us to buy players, unless of course Sniffer has a quiet word to convince him ;)

Indeed, but everyday is a school day for me.
Armed with that understanding us been stuck with Massivego is perhaps even more difficult to swallow.

Lol sorry Glory I was editing my post as you replied, although the main substance was still the same.

Although to be honest unless you were a die hard supporter of a club, most owners would prefer to invest by way of a directors loan, than via share capital, as they have a better chance of getting some of that investment back when recorded as a deb in the clubs books, than by some fantasy valuation of shares.

Ok Mate we understand each others points BUT why would nobody want to join
a club that is currently 16th in the championship who has just bought lets say for argument sake
on 1st june 2016 we offer to buy forsteri as sheff wed DONT get promoted and hull dont get promoted
so we put offer in for hernandez both players lets say cost 25m davis or dawson as centre back from hull city who lets say dont get promoted we buy one of these for 8 million , thats 33 million and we sell bamba and wooton for 4 million so we have spent 29 million and we buy a creative midfielder good quality for 6 million total spent 35million now why would players not come to leeds ?? players can now see we have ambition by spending money !! and cellino being a billionaire can afford this

Because none of that is going to happen that's why <ok>

if cellino is not going to pay out for players leeds need to look for a billionaire to buy him out someone who will spend money .
"Leeds need to look" <doh>
who at Elland Road can go look for a billionaire and sell the club to them?
If Cellino wants to sell the club, its down to him.
We need a billionaire to make Cellino an offer he can't refuse, but none have come forward in the past, can't see it happening in the near future.
personally, i'd like to go down the road of , say a Southampton, a club with owners who run the club well. don't throw millions and millions just to buy success like the Citeh's Chelski's, Scum , Liverpool etc

I was listening to talk sport yesterday, they were slamming Newcastle and Villa.

The pundits were saying they hope the likes of Sunderland and Norwich stay up.

The reason being Sunderland have players that are less quality than Newcastle but they are players that will give 110% every week day in and day out.

Look at Chelsea this season, yes it does cost money for quality but you need players who give it their all too.
true but i was on side of cellino before and he has put some of own money in to balance books , but now he has to get quality players that will give 110% every match and spend money in the summer we need about 4 players , if cellino does not spend this season he is out

Are you gonna tell him, or shall i?
lets hope the 100 spartens !! disenchanted leeds fans that demonstrated at last match will tell him ,
if hne has not got any players by start in august , all should put an adverisement out there for a billionaire
to buy him out and FASTTRACK LEEDS TO PREMIERSHIP ! spoke to a man utd fan the other day and he said
they got rid of wooton because his performance got worse and he was not good enough and would make blunders all the time so why did we sign him ??

Leeds fans advertise for a billionaire? Where? Billionairesrus.com? Are you for real? As for Wootton, I guess we signed him presuming he was good enough for the championship.
