Red Stone, according to google maps.

Looks a lot nicer on there though. Has all its windows and a recent paint job.

Don't know it. I lived at the opposite end of the town, at Castlehill. If I remember correctly there's a half decent Inidan takeaway place near Dalmilling, just off Whitletts Road. Was supposed to be in Ayr for a weekend with the burd a couple of weeks ago but the referendum keeps getting in the way.

Said it before God knows when but speaking to a big wig in Bord Bia and he knows,Scotland on it's own would easily survive because it doesn't have to abide by Westminster rules in production and by being on their own would increase their revenue. This is from horses mouth,British farming is ****ed but Scottish farming standing on it's own would be a major success.Ireland's biggest exports is the agri sector and Scotland could easily follow suit and have a major ally in EU with us.

After 8,000 posts I don't think anyone ever mentioned that bar a bit about fishing, just saying.

Now, finally, did you also know that in all of the UK's elections for Westminster ever!... Not one vote cast in SCOTLAND has ever mattered! Because of the Westminster numbers, whatever government England votes for, the UK gets. So we have no democracy here!!! 4 decades of tory rule that we voted against is proof enough, and our defiance was punished by the closure of all the mines; closure of all the steelworks; closure of all the shipyards losing hundreds if thousands of jobs. The term used by Westminster's Thatcher when these industries needed some assistance was "let the markets decide". Funny how when the greedy bankers collapsed everywhere they were bailed out to the tune of over a trillion pounds of our money... Not a mention of "let the markets decide".

Just a minor point in case anyone else hasn't already pointed it out, the two banks bailed out with taxpayers' money were:
Royal Bank of Scotland
Lloyds (having taken on the business (debts) of Halifax Bank of Scotland)

Care to elaborate? There's no tattie famine here.

I would have taken you seriously with your "care to elaborate" and left it at that but you could't help yourself so added in the extra bit and hence made a c**t of yourself!

You said "British farming is f**ed", I'd like you to justify that statement with some facts rather than beel at my good natured banter.

I'd say around 90% of the posts on this thread are about fishing Michael :emoticon-0105-wink:
