Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
No.

Scots Natz hate the English and everything about them. It's in their blood from day one because they are ******ed mutants brought up by ******ed mutants but they'll hide behind hating the union instead to try and push their ******ed agenda and to try and not look like the xenophobic scum that they all are.

Not true. We love our Nigel brethren.

Yep. If anybody is gonny make a **** of it, it should be ourselves.
3 out of the last 4 PM's have been Jockenese so "we" did make a **** of it thanks you very much.

And the Scotch parliament has so much devolved powers that it's practically federal yet the SNP want to divert attention away from the shoddy work they are doing in Government by constantly bickering at Westminster, as education levels plummet, unemployment goes up, jobs down, impose tax rises on moderate earners.

On the first day of Independence, we'd be faced with £15bn worth of cuts.

WHY WOULD ANYONE VOTE FOR THAT?

I never said that no one would vote for it, I asked why would anyone vote for it? I can guess that it's based on anti English sentiments and something like "whisky exports".

What's the credible argument for independence, bearing in mind our huge fiscal deficit (pm me if you want to know what a fiscal deficit is)

Autonomy, self determination and an end to blaming England for all our ills.

As for the "fiscal deficit". Name one country in the world that doesn't run a deficit. You can't have Norway or any other oil producing nation because having oil must be the same curse for them as it is for Scotland.

Official Scottish government statistics showed the country spent £14.8bn more than it raised in taxes in 2015/16, including a share of North Sea revenue.

That figure represented a 9.5% share of GDP, the report said - more than double the 4% figure for the UK as a whole.

Not sure is whisky sales were included in this though. Fake news imho [HASHTAG]#yes2[/HASHTAG]

You don't need independence for autonomy, for self determination, you can do that yourself, right now.

We'd start off from zero, our debt would be huge and we'd be going to Wonga to fund the huge state welfare benefits that the SNP have promised all the smelly tramps who congregate at SNP rallies.

No we wouldn't. The UK has national assets. You know, gold reserves, currency reserves blah blah blah. So Scotland would be entitled to it's fair share of these. We will also still have tax revenue. So how would we be starting from zero?

Mind you starting from zero would put us in a far better position than the rest of the UK who will still have 2 Trillion.quid of national debt.

Two choices

Stuck with tories for next two parliaments

Or

Stuck with SNP forever
