You know, you've posted comments like this several times on this thread and I've avoided responding to them because I didn't want to show you up as a brainless ****** but let me ask you this: do you think Shetlanders are more likely to get their independence in

a) An independent Scotland

or

b) A Westminster controlled Scotland

You could miss out on possibly a glorious opportunity though. An independent Scotland with that potential oil opportunity could be a seriously well off country for maybe a 100 years.

Say there is 20 billion pounds of oil in the north sea. Now 20 billion split among 5m people is a hell of a lot more than split among 70m.
