We will just sell to someone else other then you. I cant see Kasper going to Hull, I cant see him kicking up a fuss (no disrespect) for you. If he leaves it will be to an established prem side other wise he will see out his contract or sign a new one

If he has ambition, which I'm sure he has, the question is can Bruce sell our club and City to him??
Bruce was unsure about coming here and I'm sure he will now be able to confirm that Hull isn't half as bad as everyone thinks.
Bruce is looking to build a young squad capable of establishing themselves in the Prem.
Junior Red Nose could see a move here as quite appealing if you ask me.

I can't argue with that. But relationships between managers and players are different to those between chairmen.

Love us or hate us, the one thing that has to be said is that we have a manager who players like. The Man U links cannot be ignored and Steve Bruce is still highly regarded there. Who knows what gets arranged over a glass of red wine, at leaving parties. You can actually see the conversation, "our lads looking for a step up to the PL, Steve", " Funny that Peter, I'm interested if the price is right, now who's up for giving Alex the bumps?"

This whole argument is petty to say the least.

"We are a Premier League club so obviously he wants to sign for us" is the most ridiculous argument i've heard on here (and i've been a part of some pretty **** ones <laugh>)

If that was the case then no Premier League player would ever sign for lower league clubs.

We can only go with what we've got at the moment and that is that Leicester City will offer Kasper Schmeichel a new contract and that no other club has bid for him YET yadayadayada.

Until we get further information, I suggest we all just get on with our lives. Savvy?

Have you never heard of a player who is searching for first team football or needs experience.

I know we are trying to build a young side, but I think we should take the safer option and get an experienced keeper. There's nothing wrong with having an older keeper seeing as they usually go on until they're at least 35 anyway. Boruc did pretty well for Southampton last season. I saw Allan McGregor's name mentioned on here not so long ago, he's definitely the type we should be looking at.

Me'thinks the Leicester ladies doth protest too much.
Shows that they're rattled and they're rattled because they know:

1. KS is on the last year of his contract so his fee will be reduced.
2. He will know that Leicester will start next season as hopefuls instead of favourites and an ambitious player will always say adios when the EPL calls.
3. It will be agony for those who spent most of the season confidently expecting that our positions would be reversed to accept that we could now walk off with their most prized asset.

This whole Leicester thing on here is pretty tedious, outside this forum nobody in the Hull area gives two ****s about that side

Fair enough this thread says 'Schmeichel' I suppose, its a bit like the Fail when the egg-chasers come on the City pages spouting a load of **** on the comments

Sarcastic-o-meter is going berserk.
