Why am I being reminded of the same arguments when we were going to appoint Nigel as manager from the same Leicester fans who are convinced that young Kaspar will be starting the season wearing a Leicester shirt. At the end of the day given the fact that this time next year he can sign on a free for another club unless he signs a new contract, then any PL club (which we happen to be) offering money for him will have to be listened to - as no business man will want to fork out on Kaspar's wages for the next 52 weeks only to see him walk away from the club.

I wish it was a standard reply.

Unfortunately not all footballers are as level headed as Kasper is.

He knows how good he is. He knows that his chance will come.

Apparently a good source informs me that he will only join a club that has won a major trophy

    What like Forest?

A more sensible suggestion might be that he would only join a club that has a realistic chance of winning a major trophy in the next couple of years!

And how is that exactly ? He is hardly going to come out and say yes I had a word with Bruce and told him I would like the move , given my source is on the staff at hull city I would tend to believe what he says over sky sports !

Kasper 'Star jump' Schmeichel is 26, if he was that good his chance in the Prem would av come by now, plenty of Prem scouts will av watched him in the last couple of years and teams are hardly falling over them selfs to sign him.

I'm not saying Fettis is right, wrong or anything in between because I don't know, but that gives no better indication.

You really think he'd come out and say "Of course I'd rather play in the Premier League than in the second tier with old flat head." even if that was how he felt?

I can only say what I was told , the only other keeper that was mentioned was Kirkland who they said looked likely , I can only assume we see him as back up .

If you thought it was going to hard to do business with us. Making an offer like that has just made it impossible. I highly doubt you offer will even get a reply

You make an offer and the club can either decline or accept that offer, that's how football works.

I wonder which soppy twat said that last season. <laugh>

I'm sure we can throw Cameron Stewart into the deal, if that'd help?
