They must think we are all stupid, between 7/8 I would have thought.
Any thoughts?

In fairness, this stopped as a result of a request from a previous incarnation of the Fans Committee. Though it is right that the club is unlikely to reverse the decision, given the derision that would spill forth if they told 8,000 people that there was 11,000 of them in the ground.About 8,000
They never actually announce the attendance during a game now , wonder why that is ?
Still sat at Spurn Point telling the tide to **** off back. How can he sit there and watch, knowing the ground is less than a third full, and not wonder why.
The Allams really are a strange bunch.
What a pair of Canutes.........Still sat at Spurn Point telling the tide to **** off back.
Should be a bumper crowd on Wednesday for the Wigan game. With it being half term and all the kids will be taking advantage of the special offers. Kids for a quid, . Bring a mate, buy one get one free, the marketing bods have really pulled out all the stops to fill the ground for this one.....
Should be rocking. I thought it was a good move not to tell anyone that the Beat Bus that was there on Saturday before the game, best keep stuff like that quiet . Along with the Under 23's playing Palace after the Reading game. We don't want those massive queues at the turnstiles again do we and it's reassuring that the club have found a solution to that particular problem.
Hopefully a few eggchasers might jog along thinking it's a rugger match. Because they used to turn out just to watch the groundsman cut the grass at the old bullyvard, didn't they ?
Who would want that job, nightmare trying to find something positive to say.
yes we do as I know one. They know what they are working to and know what the best result will be for them currently.Do we actually have any marketing bods?

Don't agree. Take the Under 23's game immediately after the Reading game on Saturday, your were really getting two games for the price of one. Was it widely publicised ? Did you hear it mentioned on BBC sportstalk during the week ? Did the club make any effort at all to get the message out there ?Who would want that job, nightmare trying to find something positive to say.
Can you drink in your seat at an Under 23’s game?Don't agree. Take the Under 23's game immediately after the Reading game on Saturday, your were really getting two games for the price of one. There has been loads of positives this season. Nigel Adkins finds plenty to talk about every week, yet the club just limps along from week to week with virtually nothing new coming out to entice the fans back. No ticket deals, no discounts, no enthusiasm. Nothing from the marketing side.
I could put 5,000 on the gate this week by getting on the phone to RH and the HDM today, and saying it's kids for a quid. Its not rocket science, its basic marketing.
Even if it was kids for a quid this lot wouldn't let anyone know until you actually walked up to the turnstile, then they wouldn't let you pay on the day.
There was a time this season when we had more points then we had when we went up under Phil Brown. Contrast that 'Dare to Dream' campaign and the build up of excitement from the 2008 season to this. I want to be hearing good news on every sports bulletin, I want to feel as though the club are doing everything they can to build up a game and sell tickets, and I mean everything. Instead I get he feeling they don't even know who the next home game is against.
They made more about bringing along a tin of beans for the homeless. They managed to get that message out. How about a similar effort and enthusiasm to get bums back on seats?

Not everyone is on social media. That is my point. What's difficult with picking the phone up and speaking to RH or issuing a press release to the HDM ?
