Think you've misunderstood me Bobster. Not against him at all, read my first post in the thread, I like him. Character. Just think its madness if you'd have thought in December that he'd be single figs for the QM lol who'd a thought that, crazy!
You might be right! I never expected that from AP! But despite of how dedicated and hardworking he is, maybe all those injuries he's had is the main reason why he's retiring. Some of us thought he might retire when he rode his 5000th winner! Big Mac often described John Francome as the greatest jockey - he's wrong, AP is. There'll never be anyone else who'll be champion jockey 19 times (very likely to be 20).
I think Ap's missus finally put the foot down! Gona be weird not seeing him action anymore.great credit to the sport, will be missed
Following Ben Linfoot's value selections in the Betfair Hurdle - Chieftain's Choice and Violet Dancer both e/w
I think McCoy has made the right decision. He looked to have set 300 winners in a season as his last target to chase but that injury at the beginning of October put paid to that. His first novel has been released (saw it on sale at the airport the other day) so maybe he has more ambitions in that direction? One thing for sure is that we will never ee his like again. Get you money on Richard Johnson for champion jockey next season
Ya deserved that Oddy well done pal. Did it nicely. I had Activial so at least a small return from that minefield is ok.
Oddy ben linfoot is the man! I have been reading his chelts selections with interest and have already backed silver concorde in the supreme
Wonder will JP opt for the more established or will he get Mark Walsh as numero uno and see if he can handle it...
Well done with Violet Oddy - you were sure due one! Well done Bob with yours too I was happy with Cheltenian - took 40's ew last night so happy days
Strange betting on this race ????? Dollar & a Dream available @11/1 on Betfair while Ladcrooks go 3/1????
