It's the impression I get, I thought the same about Roofe to be honest, maybe I am being unfair on him, maybe it is because he looks like one of those sicky kids you always got at school.

EDIT*** Just looked up "Patrick Bamford Injury" and found this link https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/patrick-bamford/verletzungen/spieler/183334 is that really the only injuries he has suffered?
That would have been great news had it not been for Chesh's post immediately before yours. The combination makes for depressive reading! :) :( <yikes><wah>

Salford City v Leeds Utd

Tuesday 13th August 2019 17.45pm | Peninsula Stadium

Salford City, co-owned by six former Manchester United players, will host Leeds on Tuesday Evening in the first round of the Carabao Cup. The newly appointed league Club not only find themselves in this competition for the first time, but this will be the only time these two clubs have met!

Salford have had a steady start to their season. They beat Stevenage at home 2-0 on the opening day of the season, but lost by the same scoreline at Crawley Town last weekend.

Undoubtedly Bielsa will select the players who have had limited or no game time yet! Expect to see the likes of Shackleton, Alioski, Costa, Clarke and Stevens. Berardi is also available for selection after completing his ban. It will be interesting to see whether the gaffer gives debut's to new signings Eddie Nketiah and 6'6 French keeper Illan Meslier.

Is kick off really at 17.45, seems early for midweek?

Bielsa plays to win every match and uses players as he sees fit. He will feild almost a first team so expect Bamford and Costa to start. New keeper will start unless he wants Kiko to practice more. He will go easy when we are too far ahead and then use subs. Just hope we batter them quick so we can use replacements and also hope we dont get kicked and stamped to hell

Just seen a funny post on Facebook. Forest Green, the club that only sell Vegy food.

When there player went down at Walsall, Walsall fans started singing (that vegan barsteward, he eating our grass) <laugh>

Kitching went down there didnt he? Bound to be a veggy after playing on loan for Harrogate for the last 2 seasons

Can see your point WJ about Eddie and I think you might be right but I am hoping you're wrong and that he gets a run out.

Bamford is far too injury prone, if not Eddie then one of the U23's

I'm looking forward to this game more than I was the Bristol and Forest games, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Costa and Bogusz have to offer
I think bielsa will play bamford as he did not score in the leeds v nottingham forest match and he might want to see him keep his confidence but if he plays bamford and bamford does not score , think he will put

i think bielsa will give put bamford in to keep his confidence as he did not score against forest , but if bamford does not score tomorrow , he might put eddie the new striker in for next championship match

Not normally bothered about the poor mans cup but in this instance I will make an exception.
Bielsa and co need to win this convincingly otherwise I will be really pissed off for rather obvious enough reasons.
We also need to win for moral and motivational reasons.
