No decent wide men makes our attacks predictable, and theres a lack of confidence, im sure the loud boos at the end of the Barnsley match helped them no end <ok>

What's this 'Foxes' **** about? You're The Filberts aren't you? Trendy marketing guff! Same for you Palace, effing Eagles! You were the Glaziers for a century, why's that not good enough?

    Trendy marketing guff!

Been going to Filbert Street, Walkers and KP Stadium since the early 60's. Some of the football manuals had our nickname as he Filberts, but in Leicester we have ALWAYS been known as the Foxes.
    As for our midfield :-

Danns - constantly played out of position
Gallagher - Some brilliant moments, but very inconsistent
Wellens - total loss of form
King - main threat has always been his running into channels - Nugent makes these same runs and he hasnt been able to adjust his game
Abe - does a job, but easily knocked off the ball
Dyer - still has his pace, but 1 cross in 10 is decent

For you Saints fans who expect us to score - dont.
Having said all that I am going for a Schmeical hat-trick with the wind behind him, and the Foxes/Filberts to win 3-0

    Danns agree
    Gally agree
    Wellens agree
King disagree - King has been sh*t since Nige left, before Nuge came?
Abe He has done ok, but feel he is an ok in championship player and def would not be any good in prem
Dyer I will say again only exiting player we have, he comes in and does his job he loves the club and always gives his all.
Fernades Big mistake losing this guy, should have kept him, only guy who put in proper tackles!

Caller on radio tonight said bring in Moore and Kennedy at full back and put Konch and Pelts L & R midfield, good shout? would add the bite we are missing in tackling and both can cross, this would benefit Wellens and King?

We have midfielders that cannot put in a tackle! the only one we had has been sent back from loan!

Peltier and Konchesky can both tackle and cross, Moore and Kennedy are both young guys and hungry and want to impress from our academy, think this could be an option for us.

Nice to see some sensible good natured banter, a breath of fresh air after all the bulls**t that come from Hulls fans (and to be fair some of our boys too!!)
Can only see a Saints win in this one, we are just not at the races right now. I have every faith that Pearson will put together a good squad of his own, but unfortunately not enough time to mount a threat this season. next season hopefully. all the best saints fans.

I find myself back in the old mentality of being a Leicester fan - pessimistic haha! I knew the optimism with the financial backing would burst in a fashion only befitting of being a Fox. I cant see a result in any form today based on our last performance..perhaps some heroics from our best player Kasper may keep it 0-0 <ok>

Schmeichel is probaly our biggest goal threat as well. His goal kicks are massive

He will probably get a goal before the end of the season.

Either that or set Nugent or Beckford up with a header inside the area. Having said that he can put a better ball in than our midfield can at the moment.

If we had half decent 2nd choice keeper i would be tempted to play Schmeichel in midfield

I've got a very uneasy feeling about all this negativity coming from you Leicester fans, are you sure you're not trying to lull us into a false sense of security? Before the season started most Saints fans would have put this game down as one of our toughest home fixtures, and I think we still think it's not going to be easy, despite your recent lack of form. Look at our recent form too, apart from the last 2 games!

I think it'll be close, maybe 1-0 Saints.
