On Sky said Cork was only doubt...not that that means anything as Lee is also out. A haematoma can be as little as a bruise...they might risk playing him with an international break coming up. Apart from draw for Reading, we couldn't have better results yesterday for us....a great time to get a win. COYR
I know we dropped a place with Reading drawing but long term I think that was a good result for us. I think Swansea are really going to struggle this season so I am quite happy they only got point. A good result today and we will jump up the table. Feeling quite confident about this one.
If his bruising is bad enough to keep him out of international duty that is a shame. I don't think we will lose to Fulham with or without him, 1-1 is my prediction without seeing the teams. One positive about the assumed Gaston injury is that it sounds like it was a bruise from a heavy hit rather than a strain. Although you can't tell how injury prone someone is without some serious analysis it would appear that he hasn't picked up a hamstring, groin, or calf tear that injury prone players seem to always pick up.
Whoa whoa whoa guys, when did we start believing everything on the internet? Let's all wait till we hear something official! On another note I heard Berbatov is out...
Berbatov, Petric and Ramirez. Usual rumour mill before a game. We will all know about 1245 and not before
Berbatov has been touted as out for a while, missed their last game, and Petric has been going a few days. Both have been picked up by the BBC article - Gaston has not.
As good as Ramirez is, I think we need spiderman more. Ramirez is the better played but we're set for Attackers, where as the only players in spidermans ilk are davis and cork, cork is injured and Spiderman is a class above Davis.
Now rumours Clyne has pulled put of the England u21s with an injury. We are done without those 3 today.
Well what happened was Clyne tackled Ramirez (hence the bruising), Ramirez fell over onto Clyne and then Schneiderlin, Cork & lee all ran into them and got their respective injuries All one big pile-up in the corner
