Newbie here....had no idea this forum existed and was referred by one of your members. Hello everybody!

For what it's worth, I think we will win this one. Fulham don't travel well, and Rickie is due another couple of goals

Welcome Steve. I agree with your prediction, though I think this one is worthy of the old 3-1 favourite scoreline. I love 3-1. It's like 2-0 but with more goals. In fact, any game we play seems to be worthy of a 3-1 scoreline prediction. Unfortunately, sometimes in reverse though. ;)

Just watched Nigel's pre-match press conference. Another reasonable listen, some mixed questions.

Looks cheerful as ever. Oh, nice table too. And a leather swivel chair. Ooooh.

Bet it's staffed by a lot of good professionals, just like the rest of this fantastic football club. (I'm missing Adkinisms...he's gone too PL).

Yep, something like that. I'm sure they work very, very hard [is it one or two very's..?] aswell, although he didn't mention that bit. :)

You're right, I'm sure he has cut back on the Adkinisms. The thought struck me the other day, but I thought it was just me. He still says football players instead of footballers though. I know both expressions are fine, but he uses the long one.

I think people criticising the decision to let Hammond go out on loan need to consider the possibility that the player himself might have had something to do with the move. If Nigel had told he was only going to be 4th or 5th choice, but that Brighton were interested in slotting him straight into their starting XI, then it would make total sense that he went.

It's not necessarily a case of us saying 'Dont need you now Dean, get out, bye'.

For the record, without Morgan and Cork I'd have liked him in the squad. But I'm realistic enough to accept that things aren't all one way. It's not all us, us, us.

Welcome to the site Steve.

Welcome to the site Steve.

I'm one who would have liked to keep hold of Deano as cover, but i also fully accept that he is too good a player to be not playing if he can get a regular place elsewhere as he is at Brighton. I think most of us accept that + a few who think that he is not good enough for the Prem even as cover.

Another welcome from me also Steve.

Looks like Fulham are making their excuses already with a list of injuries, could be a blind to deceive us, but if true this a major opportunity to make hay while the sun shines. As long as the Referee doesn't try to be the centre of attraction it could be a good game.

Which of you fans remember the last time(I think) we played Fulham at home in Div.1? 0-2 down after 30 mins. then a Kevin Davies hat-trick. What joy!!

Mate has a Fulham season ticket and I've definitely shaded bragging rights over the years. My all time fave was seeing us smash them at the Dell when they had Rodney Marsh and George Best playing!

........and Bobby Moore !. We had Mel Blyth though ;)

I remember. It was my son's Christening so we recordedd the match. The "do" was in our local Chinese restaurant and the staff kept telling me it was 2 nil Fulham and I was having none of it. I was hammered and got back hoem to watch the game with all the family and was gutted when we went two down.... then it all came good and the champers for the christening flowed so well.

It must have been the Prem and not Div 1 if Davies was playing, but cant recall this match.

I can well remember the game in the FA Cup Final season at home v Fulham when they were 2 nil up after 20 mins or something and then Beattie scored a hatrick and we won 4-2. Brett Olmenroyd scored our other goal. That was also a early kickoff on a Sunday - a similar game & result will do nicely tomorrow

This was my first home game back in 03 or something think it was three all but not sure, still really think we can get the win as long as the fans keep loud and proud. Can't see fulham bring any more than 1200.
