Well, let's say that the silent majority already knew that. A vociferous minority thought that Hooiveld was the better man because he did rather well in the Championship. I hate the cliché, but at this level, Hooiveld lacks mobility. When an opposition player was rather quick, in the Championship, Jos had a tough time of it. But that was a rarity. Now they're all quick, or most of them are, and when his mobility is tested, it sometimes comes up short. Put him in the right situation and he's excellent. For example, I'd love to see him deal with Andy Carroll. I think he could do it too.
Fulham have been the better footballing side without creating much but deserve their equaliser. I don't know where we go from here as we've looked pretty poor since HT. It's a shame as Hooiveld comes into my Fantasy League with Ramirez out and an own goal and a yellow gives him a grand total of -2. Sucks for me.
Didn't think there was another team who passed the ball/retained the ball as poor as us (Sunderland). Backed you to win so rooting for you but very poor. Lets just hope someone can show a bit of magic. (or a fluke)
We're dreadfully missing Clyne and Ramirez. Got to doubt why we brought Mayuka if chaplow is ahead of him in the hierarchy
We lose possession often due to trying to go straight on the attack. If the players knocked it around more, we'd maintain possession better. But Fulham were doing this half what Saints were doing in the first half by never giving the other team any time. It's been lively but a draw would be a fair result. Saints have had the better chances though. Rodriguez should have scored that...
