Fox has had a good first half!

 

According to Whispering Dave, we should be 2 or 3 up. But at HT it's 1-0.

 

Anyone else hear Sky say that Yoshida "looks like a centre-back playing at right back"?

 

Only about ten times almost as many times as they have said we have the worst defence, have lost the most leads etc etc!

 

The goal was quite lucky but after that we had 4 excellent chances, puncheons effort cleared off the line, lamberts shot going past the post, lallana's cross narrowly missing davis, and lamberts shot straight at the keeper. Thought we should have scored from one of them. Even so would be delighted with 1-0.

I'd like to see fox do a bit more kick and run, get some crosses in! Lambert seems to be playing very deep.

 

Apart from that one dodgy moment when Hooiveld misjudged the long ball over the top we looked pretty good there. Also nice to see some flexibility with the switch back to 4-4-2.

 

Got to stop missing chances...getting to half time at 1.0 was achievement. We are a skilled side, but also look vulnerable. May have to go to bed and hide under duvet. the rest of you can keep the faith

 

I'm going to state the obvious here and say that it's important that we don't let Fulham back into early on in the second half. Let's hope the next goal is ours. Very nervous sat here that was a long 45...an even longer one coming up

 

Would be nice to keep a clean sheet to help us push on with the season.

 

Davis getting through a lot of work as usual.

Fonte has been awesome

 

Wonder how Bairdy feels today..? Must seem a bit odd to be playing at the ol' homestead, but then he goes in the Away dressing room.

 

Fonte is so much better than Hooiveld.
