I really can't believe that. For years I've known him as one of the hardest-working players in the league.
It was reported by several respected journalists on twitter. Don't see why they would lie?

He wasn't poor for us. He was our best player on a few of the limited games he played for us.
His attitude is questionable though. The rumour is that he refused to play due to an injury even though our physio had given him the all clear. This is why we sent him back.

If we get him I really hope he scores against you - it would be hilarious!

Haha.
I just don't want a guy who is coming to the end of his career, West Ham fans have said how poor he was for them and how he looks a shadow of his former self. Plus the fact he will want a big wage, what is so wrong in not wanting that?.
I think some people just think of players they were a few years back and still think they will play the same when they actually can't. I'm not looking for a Messi or Keane reincarnation what ever that is. I would just rather have a player that is coming into his prime then one who is on the way out.
So he wasn't poor but doesn't play much and has a bad attitude? That's sign him up![]()
Don't see what was funny there. Journalists might wanna fill column inches with transfer rumours but this would be a pretty strange rumour to make up.
Something thing clearly happened because Allardyce was made up when we signed him but declined the option to make the loan permanent.
you may find that Joe was laughing at your remark of "why would a journalist lie?" ... they often do, whether they have here or not.
And as I said, this would be a particularly strange rumour for even a journalist to make up wouldn't you agree?
Does anyone remember the impact that Bolton received from signing players that whilst being at the end of their careers were still a class aprt - it kept them up for ages and they played superb football - cant for the life of me remember who they were - does anyone know???

I'd rather have one in his prime, however if Nigel thinks a little experience in the short term is good for us then sobeit. Yossi COULD fit that. I wouldn't want a fortune spent on him and he wouldn't be my choice, however I can see why we would be linked to him. I am surprised that few others can see why we could be interested a little. Not our "must have", but someone who could add something.
I wouldn't mind on loan but it's being quoted on a perm.
Peach just said Adkins did say we wasn't getting Yoshida in August. So anything can happen.Alan Nixon has responded to Adkins' comments:
"Again. That would be odd considering a call and meeting that has gone on this week."
