Like I said yesterday, you can't just keep signing keepers until you get one who does the job. We've signed three this season already. Part of Adkins' job is to get the current set of players playing well, and he's got to try and instill some confidence into Boruc and Davis.

So what if Boruc ends up being a **** up just before the end of Jan. Do you think Adkins will change his mind?

I like how Adkins said " we are looking to the future" hopefully rules out Benayoun :)

Saints fans make me laugh. Some people moaned all season that we didn't sign any Premier league experienced players. Benayoun has bundles of experience and IF he is fit and the wages are reasonable, he would fit into our style of play easily.

I just think some people are expecting either Messi or a Roy Keane reincarnation to pop up at St Marys.

I can see why we would be interested in Yossi, particularly with Adam reportedly out til end of Feb.

I'm a little surprised we are not looking at bringing in a keeper even if on loan. However if we have decided to go with what we have than Nigel needs to decide which keeper is going to be our No.1 and stick with him. Continuity in our back four has improved us, continuity with the goalkeeper should hopefully reduce the number of errors as well.

I just don't want a guy who is coming to the end of his career, West Ham fans have said how poor he was for them and how he looks a shadow of his former self. Plus the fact he will want a big wage, what is so wrong in not wanting that?.

I think some people just think of players they were a few years back and still think they will play the same when they actually can't. I'm not looking for a Messi or Keane reincarnation what ever that is. I would just rather have a player that is coming into his prime then one who is on the way out.

Very good player but a poor attitude.

Rumour is that his injury had completely healed, our physio's and medical staff had given him the all clear but he still refused to play, saying he needs longer.

Pretty sure this is why we sent him back and replaced him with Joe Cole.

If we get him I really hope he scores against you - it would be hilarious!

He wasn't poor for us. He was our best player on a few of the limited games he played for us.

His attitude is questionable though. The rumour is that he refused to play due to an injury even though our physio had given him the all clear. This is why we sent him back.

I really can't believe that. For years I've known him as one of the hardest-working players in the league.
