Yeh of course I have no doubt Ramirez injury permitting will be a leading player in the prem soon. Just think Adam and Rickie are soo integrated in the team that they are hard to replace at the moment Ramirez doesn't quite have that impact just yet. But don't get me wrong love the guy and hes gonna do great things for us if we can keep hold of him!

I have heard this from others aswell. When Ramirez loses the ball quite a lot of the time its him playing a pass that others just don't read. The question is whether or not we can surround him by quality to fully utilise his skills, as atm he is a step ahead of every other player in the side.
 
Also I think he would be best suited to having a quick striker playing in front of him, he seems to like playing cute little through balls which Lambert rarely gets on the end of due to not being quick enough.

Not saying we should drop Lambert or anything like that, just that I think Ramirez would look more effective with a pacy forward in front of him

Another one off of twitter for you, this time goalkeeper related:-Just in...Southampton weighing up bid in the region of £5m for highly rated GK Jason Steele from #MFC #saintsfc. He is a very good keeper in my opinion.

As with any deal I can't help thinking that NC would not spend that amount if we could not afford it. We are all very aware of how hard nosed he is and the way he runs a tight ship. I would therefore be very surprised if he allowed this ship to sink on his watch.
 
Lamballana can you do a list on the first page of everyone we have been linked with so far so A) people dont have to read through all of them and B) we can see which ones come true? Maybe for a bit of fun you could also put the user that first put up said player so end the end we could see who got the most right if any.

Jason Steele is 22. I'm really apprehensive about the effects of signing a fourth goalkeeper this season.

Happy to but will take me time to plough through the 1300+ posts! I'm out this evening and most of tomorrow so it may have to wait until Friday. If some-one can think of a short cut let me know.

As opposed to signing someone else who is young and unproven and hoping he steps up? Boruc and Davis have been low on confidence, but they have the ability. If they could find some confidence from somewhere, they'd be fine.
