Tadic discussing the diamond formation and how the team has to work hard to use it successfully. Basically a work in progress.
Not entirely surprised that our team put together over 4 seasons to play a Plan A 4-2-3-1 or a Plan B 4-3-3 are struggling to adapt to a system that isn't played anywhere else in the Premier League. How long will Puel continue with this experiment before he reverts back to a more workable system that the players feel comfortable playing?

Probably when he sees it showing no signs of working. Currently there have been signs of it working, so my guess would be not yet.

We are doing something different. It can take time. People don't like change. Fans seem to like it even less.

The new 2016/17 Saints fan attitude appears to be "If at first you don't succeed = [HASHTAG]#fail[/HASHTAG]".
Have you seen the diamond system work?
Especially when you try and mould a set of players who were bought and trained over the last 4 seasons to play 4-2-3-1.
Do any of the Premiership teams play the diamond?
I hope I am proven wrong and it turns out to be a master stroke by Puel but I am not holding my breath

It worked pretty well for Liverpool in 13/14.
