Of course, that's an extra two years, in effect, no doubt on improved terms. He signed for 5, has played 1 of the them and now replaces all that with 6. We're looking at Jose's heir as captain.
Good news...he gets more money in exchange for a contract extension. A good player who will only get better, but the main thing is the confidence he has shown in Saints.
