This is one of the only reasons why I might ever consider a Twitter account. Just so that I could tell Glenn Hoddle where to shove his views on taking yet another asset away from Southampton FC. Also to remind him that what is pretty good for Chelsea is also good for us. And also to remind him that he jumped ship as soon as it was humanly possible, after our club rescued him from the managerial wilderness. Didn't do him any good did it?

These pundits don't learn, do they.
 
Just watched fantasy football where they have Nigel Clough as a guest, and asked him about his run in with Ron in the Sheffield cup game,and he admitted he was out of order and would like to apologise to Ron when he sees him next time. Good man Nigel for admitting you made a mistake, rare these days.

I'd sell tickets for that exchange. After all, our Ron strikes me as man who takes an insult lightly ....

But I'm pleased that Clough had the balls to say that publicly

Some stats: since the beginning of 2014-15, we have 94 points in 63 games, and a goal differential of +30. The points total is sixth-best over that span, tied with Liverpool. The goal differential is also sixth-best, with no team even in close pursuit...Leicester's actually seventh at +11.

The PL's best defensive record over that span? Our 57 goals conceded.

I missed it :(

Went to earlier rounds v Charlton & Norwich, but lost my job the week before this and if I remember this rightly this game was on Tuesday and we had Pompey in the FA Cup at the weekend, I only had enough money to attend one game, easiest decision of my life tbh <laugh> Even tho we got dicked :(

Right at the end of that video, Lallana scored and ran over to the corner flag to simulate peeing on his territory. I've never felt comfortable with that celebration and I doubt the much missed Markus did either. Otherwise an excellent evening.

Note to editor: Jay compliments Charlie. Really, told him he had nice hair presumably. Think you meant complement. Words are often spelt differently to indicate their different meanings....this can be very useful. <steam>
