While looking at Vines and videos previewing the game against Arsenal I came across a new angle on a fabulous goal scored by Jay Rodriguez. JayRod rightly got plaudits for it, but Rickie Lambert's pass was considered by many pundits to be a hopeful punt upfield. Most Saints supporters knew better, but if anyone was in any doubt, this angle shows Rickie meant every bit of it. A truly fabulous pass worthy of any world class footballer. It gets better the more times you look at it. Sorry about the speed. Not my doing.:

Blog reiterating the rumour that we wanted Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan, but were denied because of lack of depth in Arsenal squad. Don't agree with last sentence that he would get more games at Saints....presumably we felt that we needed him, but I don't think he'd just walk into our side. Think it was more a case of having more depth in our squad and perhaps have a proper look at him before trying for a permanent move in the summer. Wouldn't be surprised to see us try again then...bet the Black Box has said he is just our type of player (yes, you stupid Box, because he once was).

Can just imagine getting an ex-player back and turning him into a world beater<laugh>

Ronald once again openly admitting that the ball breaks for you sometimes. The latest intake of European managers [including Ron] come across as a relatively bull**** free bunch.
Heard an interview with Klopp on his game with Leicester last night, for example. Quite refreshingly honest.

Isn't it great. "We got a lucky point"

Did you see Wenger's interview? The interviewer started with this, "Ronald Koeman said his side were lucky to get a point..." Wenger almost did a double take. He didn't expect such an honest opinion.

Indeed, Catch him at any other time and he's relatively ok, but immediately post-match, Wenger tends to be a stranger to honesty.

Indeed, that would be a laugh.
