Koeman’s real magic was attracting the quality of recruits we needed after the Pochettino exit and the carnage that followed. Tadic. And it would be well above 2 points per game if he hadn't been probably understandably cautious being his first job with his team selection and subs before he switched to a back 4.
He is learning and will get better and he does make better decisions now, plus he has galvanised the squad superbly in the last couple of months.
He has got a very good squad (top3 imo) to work with now and it will be classed as failure if we don't make the play-offs from here.

You just know that SR will do something clever and recruit his unborn child as one for the future though.I think it would be classed as failure at the start of the season but if we miss out by a few points then I think it won’t be Tonda who is blamed.
If we get about 1.5 points from now til the end of the season then I think most would agree he’s earnt a chance at being the manager for the start of next season
