There is a whole thread for the women’s team!Having completely changed the team to play Pompey in the cup midweek but still winning 1-0, they were away to the them in the league today and losing 2-1 at HT…but ran out 2-5 winners by FT![]()

Be warned, another unsatisfactory draw and you're out!Oh yeah, good point!!

Who decides whether a draw is satisfactory or unsatisfactory?Be warned, another unsatisfactory draw and you're out!
Some, like this Saturday for example. A draw against Swansea at home would be a terrible result. Is that because draws are losses?

Trying to remember the last game you didn’t say this! Some, like this Saturday for example. A draw against Swansea at home would be a terrible result.
Ipswich away. That's the last legitimately good draw we've had.Trying to remember the last game you didn’t say this!
Boro wasn't a terrible result by any means.Ipswich away. That's the last legitimately good draw we've had.
Agreed but given we were at home and took the lead still a tad disappointing we didn't win the game.Boro wasn't a terrible results by any means.
Watched the game and absolutely agree and it was so entertaining to watchI have now watched the last three Northern Ireland fixtures. Shea Charles has been the best player on the park in all three games and two of them were against Germany. Michael O'Neill has a squad of young lads putting in marauding performances where the first thought in every player's mind is to get the ball forward, instantly. They pummelled Germany in search of an equaliser last night and all I could think of was how reminiscent they were of newly promoted Saints back in 2012 and Lawrenson dubbing us "The Red Arrows." Charles was not only the box to box enforcer but also a very effective playmaker. Now, that NI team has a few PL players but primarily it's full of Championship and League One level players and O'Neill has them really punching above their weight. It's obvious why too. They are all completely sold on what they are being asked to do and they attack en masse and at full throttle. I mention this not only because Charles is our player but primarily because the essence of O'Neill's approach is so obviously what we are lacking in our own pedestrian efforts to attack. I hope Still saw the games and recognises that if he were to insist on a gung ho, up and at 'em approach too, he has a player ready made to make that tick.

I don't think home and away matters much for us these days. Over the last three seasons our home/away records are more or less equal.
But yeah, always disappointing to lose a lead, no matter the opposition. Think we'll see a lot if it though under Still.
I think we will ultimately become more resilient under Still. There is no sharp contrast to last season's campaigns but I can improvements. It would be ridiculous to replace Still at this point in time. If we falter next season I can see an argument but not in 25 /26.
