I really don't want that bellend Turki - who got forced out of Al Alhy, then got Almeria relegated and immediately sold the club. And that's just for sporting reasons (and the fact I can't bear the bloke).

Last thing we need, now we might finally be on to something with Solak, Spors and Still.

I feel sorry for Tall Paul. He is a good bloke and gives 100 per cent. Not quite sure what is level would be but th7bk liwer championship at best. Again , a coach l7ke Merrington would improve him.

He’d score goals if you played to his strengths even in the PL I think. He scored 4 for us not playing to his strengths and not playing all that much. Reckon he’d get double figures if a team played like Stoke used to

Agreed. He's actually scored a goal every 260ish minutes this season, which is decent, and as you say we haven't particularly been playing in a way suited to him.

Whether he's fit enough and physically suited to play every week in the Premier League and whether he's a player you'd want to build your tactics around in that way are separate questions. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he scores loads (again) if and when he moves to a weaker league.

I for one look forward to being confused and not being able to work out where the Southampton page is for at least a week, when it’s switched to ‘Championship’ on here.
