Steve Grant, on TSP has come up with a suggestion for ABK not getting any game time.
Apparently he has made 24 premier league appearances for us and he is wondering if a 25th appearance would trigger additional payments to the club we bought him from.
Seems odd to give him a bench place if there is never an intention to use him though.
Would sooner give the experience to a kid from the U21 squad.

Ah, now that makes sense. It could even be a wage rise or bonus after 25 appearances, but after Juric said it is not a fitness issue, this makes the most sense
 
Saw a video with Lineker and Shearer discussing Brian Clough and Shearer said that he was lined up in the tunnel at Wembley, for our game against Nottingham Forest in the 1992 ZDS final, when someone kicked him in the calf.
On turning around to see who had done it, there was Cloughy telling him “You’re a danger to us” before walking off.
I recall that he did something similar to Kevin Campbell as well.
What a character.

I quite often listen to his interviews and stories about him on YouTube when bored. Won't ever be another like him.

Mark Crossley does a brilliant impression of him. This one is class but the Stuart Pearce story he tells is probably my favourite.

I was in a bar in Cyprus last year that had all the footy shirts that had been donated on display and this was the Saints offering :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Does it really matter who the officials are? The team and manager are doing a good job of getting us relegated, so we can’t blame VAR and dodgy officials for our position. They are inconsistent, but the players and Juric are consistent in their inability to win a football match on a regular basis.

It's kind of important as no game would start without them?
